SARAH & COLIN

Sarah & Colin were married in the grounds of the Burn House an academic retreat in Edzell. It was a beautiful setting for a summer wedding with a large marquee hosting the reception.
Soft blush summer florals with a slight hint of pink, fragrant and romantic was the theme for Sarah's wedding flowers and what better time of year than June for using lush peony roses and scented sweet peas.
Making her way to the venue by horse and carriage, Sarah looked stunning in her lace detailed dress with pretty flowers in her hair and a cascading bouquet with dainty saponarias throughout.
The ceremony aisle chairs were decorated with pomanders of pink hydrangeas leading to foliage adorned arch. Floral arrangements linked with vines sat a top the vintage registry table.
Footed glass cake plate arrangements, all textured and floral dressed the guest tables whilst the top table had a lush full length floral runner that smelled divine.
Highlights of the day was the clootie dumplings, a tasty alternative to wedding cake and the table plan complete with a violin case of pretty flowers.
Overall an absolutely beautiful wedding that was captured perfectly by Burfly Photography
