brides bouquet in dusky mauve colours
STACEY & GARETH

As a fully operating whisky distillery weddings are limited throughout the year, making Lindores Abbey Distillery a rather unique and exclusive location for a wedding. It is steeped in history and is a fascinating place to visit.
Stacey & Gareth were married in the upper floor of the Distillery where the large copper stills created quite the backdrop. With a rich teal colour scheme the bridal bouquets were tailored to a palette of dusky pinks, mauve and blues with beautiful Montmartre Roses, vintage blue hydrangeas, alliums and astrantias, grey thistles, wax flowers and mixed eucalyptus foliages
The Cloister Banquet is where the wedding breakfast took place. Above the long stretching  banquet tables is a suspended canopy which we dressed with garlands of foliage and hanging tea light globes. At intervals along the table are fixed raised sculptures which were accentuated with ruscus and clusters of hydrangea.
Within the foyer, Alison of a Bonnie Wee Cake created a masterpiece wedding cake which was suspended from the ceiling. In striking shades of teal and silver we added florals to match the bouquets making it a stunning wedding showpiece.
Burfly Photography provided these fabulous photos which show the unique charm of the Distillery.
