bridal party looking at their wedding bouquets
MARIANNE & MATTHEW

Originally due to be married on the week of the first lock down, Marianne & Matthew not only had to change their date but also their wedding venue. Roll on 18 months they were married on a beautiful August day in the gardens of the Ballathie House Hotel.
The bridal bouquets were playful with summer colour encompassing soft peaches and apricot,  shades of pinks and hints of burgundy. They featured astilbe and astrantias, blousy garden roses in a variety of colours, frilled dahlias in blush pinks and burgundy, scented phlox drummondii in peaches, pinks and cream and vines of flowering clematis.
After the ceremony the drinks reception was held in a small marquee in the grounds and upon the barrels that formed the tables were gin bottles of flowers that added a splash of colour.
The wedding breakfast was held in the dining room which had beautiful decorative wallpaper with colours that perfectly with the raised compote arrangements that dressed the tables.
Unfortunately I dont know the name of the cake designer but it looked so pretty adorned with light clusters of flowers and origami cranes created by the Groom.
Based in Berkshire but originally from Edinburgh, Jane Morgan Photography captured all the moments of the day and provided the beautiful images in this gallery
